Klakki ehf. sells 7,99% in VÍS

On 13 October, Klakki ehf. disposed of an 7.99% share in Vátryggingafélag Íslands hf (VÍS). The disposal was concluded following the acceptance of an offer from a consortium of institutional investors. After the transaction, Klakki remains the largest shareholder with a 15.18% qualifying holding in VÍS.
Klakki´s policy is to maximise the disposal value of its assets, in the best interests of the company’s shareholders. Klakki does not define itself as a long term investor in VÍS and will aim to sell its remaining share, possibly in several tranches in the coming months.
